Tips on becoming a better musician:

1. Look good in pictures.
2. Write moronic lyrics about things that don't matter.
3. Don't challenge your audience. Intellectual stimulation is an awful thing.
4. Learn how to give head really, really well.
5. Do lots of hard drugs and have others babysit/make your decisions for you. It's not about what you want to play or be, it's about what someone with more money than you wants you to play.
6. Lose your sense of humor and/or personality. That's artfag shit.
7. Do it for the money. Being DIY is dirty and gross because it's loosely connected to all the undesirable parts of punk rock. Who was cooler, Sid Vicious or that bald dude from Fugazi?
