This was probably the most fun I've ever had recording anything ever. I played both the keyboard (an older Casiotone Jake Harris had left at the place I was living at the time) and the guitar at the same time while chugging copious amounts of Lone Star. The idea behind it was that it was my Japan-exclusive glam-black-metal single from the 90's. We did an awkward photoshoot for it and everything.

The idea of Spring Break '97 itself is kind of an in-joke between some friends of mine and I. I don't really remember how it got started but anytime we're at parties we tend to obnoxiously yell "SPRRRRIIING BREAAAK '97 GONNA GO SO LAID". There's more too it but the more I write about it the more I realize nobody's actually going to read these. If you did and for whatever reason want to know more I'm pretty easy to get ahold of.
