Sometimes the best songs happen when you least it expect it.

I wrote Tacky Souvenirs of Post-Revolutionary Shadow Moses while I was taking a shit. The NO, EP was pretty much finished but it really needed a good opening track and this thing just kinda slid out of me. I guess this song's the equivalent of taking a picture of your turd and posting it to the internet, preferably on the Poop Pics subreddit I've been meaning to start for like a year and a half now.

We had some good times in the context of the time they were happening
But we were both in awful places just kinda trying not to spend

And years went by and I went back to visit him again
And just got sad.
